Tourist Attractions in Subic Bay - Philippines
Subic has outgrown its dependence on the former American military base stationed in the area. Today, it is a growing and is being prepped as one of the major tourist destinations in the Philippines. The number of local and foreign tourists and guests is rising while attractions and facilities are constantly being improved.

Scuba Diving
This one of the really huge tourism highlights here. Those who are new to diving may take the "Discover" diving program, which is an introduction to diving and the various dive sites in the area.
The bay area is a wreck diver's heaven since there are no less than 25 wreck sites. These wrecks are remnants open water combat in World War II. Some Spanish and Chinese wrecks are seen in these waters dating back to as early as 16th century.
Subic International Raceway
If you're a motor sport enthusiast then you'll be delighted to find the International Raceway as a modern tourism highlight. Various race seasons are held here where local racers from all over the Philippines as well as foreign racers participate. A race meet will usually last around three days. The raceway is located right beside the airport and is only 15 minutes away from the business district.
Ocean Adventure
One of the interesting theme parks and tourism highlights in Subic is Ocean Adventure. The location of the reservation is perfect, which is at the edge of the nearby Ilanin Bay rain forest. There's an undersea aquarium and dolphin and sea lion shows.
Equestrian Center
If you're an equestrian buff or someone who just wants to try it out, then head on to Subic's El Kabayo. This center has horses imported from Australia, Argentina, and the United States.
Forest Adventure Park
Enjoy a safari tour in Zoobic Safari. Animals roam freely in this 25 hectare animal reserve. This safari tour is a popular ecological tourism highlight not only among locals but among foreign guests as well. You may also want to try their jungle survival training conducted by none other than the indigenous Aeta people. These are unique highlights in Subic tourism.
Nightlife
After a long day of touring the many attractions, you may want to just hang out and enjoy a drink with friends. There are a number of bars in the area that would give you a great night cap to top off your day. The Voodoo Floating Bar is unique in that it is located several meters offshore. You hop on to this floating bar from Treasure Island Resort. If you're looking for a bar that isn't that exotic but provides great music then head on off to Pier One.
